With Cape Ann being known as the “Oldest Art Colony in Massachusetts,” there is no short stock of art galleries in Rockport and in the surrounding areas. Taking the grandkids to a gallery can be a fun, enriching learning experience. If shopping is more up your alley, the whole family can take a walk along Rockport’s own Bearskin Neck, where there are a ton of fun shops and restaurants.
