Wellesley is home to Massachusetts Marketplace Festival

On Saturday, August 7th, the town of Wellesley held its annual farmer’s market and artisan product fair.  Over 60 vendors showcased good such as homemade tomato sauce, natural skin care products, Italian ice, and of course, fruits and vegetables grown by local farms!

The festival was held in the middle of 36 lush acres of the Elm Bank Reservation in Wellesley. The reservation is also home to the Festival’s host, the Massachusetts Horticultural Society.

The Massachusetts Marketplace Festival is a great example of sustainability in MetroWest Boston. In addition, Wellesley is also home to one of the best botanical gardens in Massachusetts — the Wellesley College Botanical Gardens. Go green in Wellesley!

Wellesley Real Estate and Identifying What You’re Looking For

The most important thing to remember when you start looking into Wellesley real estate is that, in order to be happy with the decisions that you’ve made, you need to be sure of what you want. What’s it going to take to make sure that you know what you’re looking for when you start to search for Wellesley real estate?

First, you’re going to want to make sure that you know what you need. Depending on the size of your family, you’re going to want to start looking at the number of bedrooms that you will want and need to have in your home. If your kids have grown and left home, then you’re going to focus less on finding a school that’s ideal for their learning styles (though, because great schools tend to create great neighborhoods, it may not be a bad idea to check them out anyway).

The next thing you’re going to want to identify when you start looking into Wellesley real estate involves what you want. Whether it’s granite counter tops, hard wood floors throughout the home, a swimming pool or a corner lot, the things that you want in a home (but could live without) are important to consider.

The more that you’re able to identify what you want and need in a home, the better the position that you’ll be in to find a Wellesley real estate agent who will be able to help you find the perfect property. Identifying what you are looking for, in other words, is a key step in the process of buying Wellesley real estate.

Questions to Ask When You Choose a Wellesley Real Estate Agency

If you’ve thought about your options and have decided to look into Wellesley, MA real estate, you’re going to want to take an important next step: you’re going to need to focus on choosing a Wellesley real estate agency that will be able to help you find a great home.

So, what should you be looking for when you choose a Wellesley real estate agency and an agent who will be able to help you buy a home of your own?

  1. You’re going to want to make sure that you are thinking a lot about what you are looking for in a home; the more you know what you’re looking for, the more that you’ll be able to ask questions of a real estate agent and to determine whether or not you are going to be working with someone who specializes in homes like those you want to buy.
  2. You’ll want to be sure to ask questions about the agents and the Wellesley real estate agency – questions about what their clients are often like, how long they’ve been in business, how much time they will be able to commit to working with you and even what hours they keep so that you know you’re working with someone who can meet with you on your schedule.
  3. You’ll want to make sure that you’re looking at favorable references from past clients. If you’re able to get contact information for past clients, follow up with them; if they’d go back to the same agent in a heartbeat, you’ll know you’re on the right track.

In other words, it’s important to think about what you want and need in a real estate professional and to choose a Wellesley real estate agency that will be able to provide those things for you.
